I met Kiersten White!!! She came to Dallas for a book signing for SUPERNATURALLY and I blathered about how I love her writing voice and what an inspiration she is to me. Luckily, Grayman snapped a pic:

Best part? My six year old saying it was the best night of his life. And instead of being a secret agent he now wants to be... an author.
So cool about your son! And Kiersten ain't bad, either.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I am super jealous!
ReplyDeleteI am sure there is Nothing like the feeling of your son wanting to be an author. :)
Yeah, Caroline, I worship Kiersten. :0)
ReplyDeleteSummer, it IS fun. He's such an amazing reader! I wish I had done what he's done at his age.
Oh gosh, I love her, and I keep missing opportunities to meet her! But she is darling and I love her books!
ReplyDeleteHa, I'm reading Paranormalcy right now and I love it. That's awesome you got to meet her!
ReplyDeleteHow the heck are you doing with three kiddos, by the way???
Liesl, yep. Darling is the perfect word.
ReplyDeleteHey Shalane! Glad you're liking it!! It's super fun, huh? Three kids? Umm, still working on it. ;)
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteI was snooping around the blogosphere and came across your blog through my critique partner Liesl. I'm a newly-agented author from Utah, and I just wanted to let you know how much I've been enjoying reading through your posts! And I love Kiersten White....she came to Utah last year, and she was one of the most down-to-earth people I ever met.
Anyways, looking forward to reading your blog!
Thanks, Kate! And congrats on landing Edward Necarsulmer. *gasp!*
